The dang things sticking down gave very little clearance between the tire and the nut. The fender mounts on 2 brackets, and the bolts run down from top of fender thru bracket, and the nuts are on bottom. Guess where that came from? Yet again, the stupid design of the trailer. When I got home, noticed the brand new tires had 2 grooves cut on each side of the tread. When I bought the boat I put new tires on it. Once the bunks are done, the fenders are next. And, I've already replaced the entire break system hoses, brake drums, brake backing plates, break actuator, new wheel bearings on their way and a new spare wheel/tire last year. unlike a shop who has an overhead lift which would be much easier. I know sometimes it takes a lot of loading/unloading the boat to make it fit right. I thought about a new trailer but I don't have anywhere I can use to adjust the trailer to fit the boat.
